What have William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton, Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Richard Hurndall, Peter Cushing, Terry Marsh, Sylvester McCoy & Paul McGann got in common? Yep they are all stars who played the Doctor, but another name will soon be added to the infamous Role Call.
The new series will be written by a Self Confessed Doctor Who fan Russell T Davies, although the BBC has said it is far too early to discuss possible storylines, characters, villains or who might play Doctor Who - and no budget has yet been set.
Quote "However, we're at the very early stages of development and further details, including casting, will not be available for some time."
