Was watching something on TV about a charity called The Make A Wish Foundation. They are a charity (and have other operations around the world here http://www.worldwish.org) that grant wishes to children with Life Threatening Illnesses.
The wishes include meeting their favourite Celebrity (i.e. meet Mariah Carey), visiting somewhere they have always wanted to go (i.e. visiting the set of Dawson’s Creek), to do something they always wanted to do (i.e. be Action Man for the day), or to own something want (i.e. the boy who dreamed of owning a quad bike).
