Eilidh is now officially free of her wheat allergy! :D She's also evening out a bit in height/weight. In December she was 25lb (91st centile) and 74cm (9th centile) - she's now 26lb (75th centile) and 84cm (50th centile) so I'm pleased about that.
The dietician was a little concerned about Eilidh's nutrition though as she seems to be lacking iron and vitamins (she won't eat meat or vegetables, which is hard cos I'm vegetarian but she won't eat what I eat and she won't eat what I won't eat either!) and she doesn't drink enough milk - some days she doesn't have any and she's gone off cheese too so all she has is a couple of petit filous. So I've to encourage her to drink at least 350mls a day, and at least half of that should be follow-on formula for the iron and vitamins. I've also to try and get different types of beans and pulses into her and to try her with peanut butter too.
I got her a few cartons of follow-on milk on the way home, and she's had one just now. I just cut a hole in the top and stuck a straw in. She drank the lot (250ml, SMA Progress) but I'm concerned that when we buy a box she won't drink it - she's not interested in drinking cow's milk from a cup or glass. Just have to wait and see I suppose. We certainly can't afford 50p a carton every day!
All in all though, it's good news. She's to go back in August to have her weight and height checked again.
