Older and Wiser Potter'ings

I've just realised that the impending release of the fifth Harry Potter book by J K Rowling isn't really that high up on my list of priorites. I'm more on tenterhooks about what's going to happen in the other Harry Potter series by Lori Summers. You've never heard of "The Paradigim of Uncertainty?" You're missing out on something special - an adult Harry Potter series that rivals Rowling's world

Without giving away too much, it's ten years after Voldermort's defeat, and Harry Potter is an agent working for the ID (Inteligence Division), fighting evil in its many forms, with many of his friends from school (and some new ones). Summers has sculpted the perfect world for our heroes to inhabit after Hogwarts, and her writing is at an amazing level for something that descends fan-fiction and really needs to be published.

What worries me is that I'm pretty confdent that the cannon fifth year in
Hogwarts (ie what JK writes) is going to throw up a major contradiction to Lori's history at some point. I'm pretty sure my brain is going to flip over and make JK's universe the 'made up' one, and Lori's universe being the 'correct' one. And that's probably the biggest compliment I can give it.

You can find everything on the series at the Yahoo Group.

Hi! I just found your comments about the PoU series and wanted to drop a note and say thanks for the praise. It's high praise indeed! I hope you're enjoying where HWTF is going. I'm hard at work on chapter 10. Posted by: Lori Summers on February 10, 2024 06:13 AM
